I purchased brake service through Groupon. Unfortunately, even after corresponding with them via Facebook to make sure the Groupon included everything I thought brake service would include (which I assumed would be the brakes, labor AND any necessary hardware) - I made the mistake of not paying enough attention to what wasn't stated. In a nutshell, I was baited and switched immediately (lo and behold, the brake special advertised on Groupon didn't include hardware -I didn't know such a thing was possible). I ended up getting the more expensive brakes which actually included hardware, and I let them talk me into a timing belt, but because I couldn't afford to get rotors also at the time (hence, my initial excitement about the Groupon deal), they refused to warranty my brakes. Although they may not technically or legally be wrong, I felt mistreated and still feel this way even after 7 months. The kicker is that my car is 15 years old - I'm very loyal and I need a regular repair shop, which I was hoping they might have been (I also explained this). Oh well, guess I'll stick with Midas.
