Great customer service with a nice waiting area. Really well run family owned business. Tiffany, the service advisor handles the calls and walk ins friendly and quick.

Not a fan of this place. Had some work done to the front end and upon picking up my vehicle the driver's side area was filthy--I mean disgustingly filthy. The tech that worked on my car was a walking dirt ball from head to toe. It appeared he hadn't taken a shower in weeks. So our steering wheel, interior door handle, seat and center counsel was smudged with grease. They attempted to clean but not to satisfaction. Owner who was deer hunting promised to make it right but repeated calls not returned. Additionally, the work they performed on outer tie rods was suspect as one year later they had to be replaced again. New technician pointed out (visable) that they glued a part near the wheel in an attempt eliminate the ABS warning light. Dissatisfied doesnt describe our frustration. No longer a customer!

The battery in my Equinox died last week. We waited until we could jump it ourselves to see if it was really dead or just needed a jump (maybe I left my lights on). But nope, it was just dead. I called AAA and they sent out Troy Auto Care to my home within an hour and they called before coming to make sure they had the right battery for my car. Kyle was who helped me and he was great. So friendly and no pressure to buy from him. He came out, tested my battery for free, confirmed that it's dead (it's 5-6 years old, so it was time), and said he could have a new one installed in 10 mins. $150 later, my car now runs beautifully and it was super convenient that I didn't need to leave my house. Thank you Kyle for your professionalism and kindness

Took a 2015 Honda in for an oil change with a groupon after seeing all the positive reviews about the business. When we took it in, they had a problem with redeeming a groupon and not buying additional services. I'm a fan of giving trusted business additional work, but I don't even know you yet. Then they said that my Honda needs synthetic oil rather than regular that was covered by the groupon. This is an upsell of ~$20. At an all in of ~$50, I'd rather just go to the dealer. Every automaker says synthetic is better, but not required. Had to turn around and report them to groupon. I was really looking for a go-to non-dealer to basic maintenance done, but this will not be the place I get that done.

Kim's Husband Clark, without a name or any additional information we are unable to find you in our system. In addition, we did see the large number of ratings you left for other businesses in our area at the same time as this one. We value our customer's feedback and would like the opportunity to discuss your rating. If you have been a customer of ours, please reach out to discuss any concerns you may have.

Very honorable family run business. Although we had an initial mis- diagnosis of car issue, the owner corrected the action and went out of his way to enSure I was satisfied. If looking for honest and honorable family owned auto service I'd recommend Troy Auto Care.

It used to be good. But now they overcharge for parts between 40% to 55% in comparison to online shops with free delivery, which is absurd. The last time I was there, they broke one of my tire pressure sensors while they were changing the tires and asked me to pay for a replacement. The price was 80$; really!? Almost twice as expensive as the most expensive pressure sensor out there (OEM part). By the way, the quotes over the phone are considerably different than the price you will be charged there. (295$ -> 365$, brakes and rotors replacement without any complications)

Sina, we apologize for any misunderstanding there may have been. We looked back in our records and do not have any invoices for a tire pressure sensor. We do have an invoice for $80 which was for the tire change. The quote you receive over the phone is the standard pricing for the service, and can differ from the actual cost of the repair once we are able to inspect your vehicle. However, we do provide information regarding what needs to be done and verify any pricing with you prior to the service. We would like the opportunity to discuss your concerns further. Please give us a call and ask for Scott. (248) 528-3819

I called AAA roadside service and Troy Auto Care was dispatched. The young man who assisted was prompt and very helpful under difficult circumstances. We could not start a handicap van and my wheelchair bound mother and her friend were in the vehicle with me. While pulling up to run diagnostics the service vehicle ran into the back end of the van with us inside. He quickly checked for damage, I was told there was none and let it go. We were focused on getting my mother back to a safe place and the dents went unnoticed until I picked the van up after they replace the starter. I have no complaints with the driver, it was an accident and an honest mistake. My outrage is with the owner who was supposed to take care of the damage. One dent was partially removed and the vehicle was handed back to me. Another dent he refused to do anything about. Granted, there was a small mark prior from the aftermarket pin holding the door securely against the ramp, but when the impact pushed us forward it protruded significantly. The plastic panel on the inside of the hatch was also gouged on both ends by the ramp. I was told I was "ungrateful" (as if this were charity work on his part!) and that he "saw the video of the roadside service visit and his driver went out of his way to be helpful" (as if I shouldn't expect repairs for this accident because he was so nice to us). Don told me he was done here and he wasn't going to give me a new car! I'm done too. I had been a customer in the past, but no longer.

Triple A sent Troy Auto to help me with a dead battery. Bruce called when he was on his way, identified the issue and got the battery replaced quickly. Appreciated his help and his professionalism, he had a good personality to boot. I've been going to the dealership for maintenance work but based on my experience with Bruce will switch to Troy Auto.
