Gage B. helped with my tow through AAA and did a great job. He called ahead, was very friendly and professional in person, and handled everything quickly once he arrived, so I was able to get back to work without being tied up for very long. The only parts of the experience that were a little less smooth were the communication and follow-up. Troy Auto Care called shortly after I booked through AAA, and the voicemail made it sound somewhat urgent that I call back. When I did, it was mainly just to confirm the tow, which I understand since they probably want to make sure the service is still needed. AAA had originally given me a much longer estimated arrival time, but when I spoke with Troy Auto Care they told me the driver should arrive within about 15–35 minutes. It ended up being closer to 45 minutes to an hour after that call. Not a huge issue, but the estimate they gave me was a little optimistic. My only real complaint was the number of follow-ups asking for a review. Gage mentioned the AAA review, which was completely fine, and I filled that out positively, but afterward I received additional texts and another call about leaving a review. That felt a little excessive. Overall, though, the actual towing service was very good. Gage was friendly, efficient, professional, and easy to deal with, and I’d be comfortable using Troy Auto Care again.
