Horrible service over price you triple the amount from on line prices on parts very dishonest I have a beautiful 1972 Monte Carlo all custom these scammers are tearing my car apart every time i took my car there they claim to fix one problem only for something else to go wrong i wish i could post a pic of my car on hear to show it’s beautiful ness they charged me 1,600 for new spark plug wires and to pour a electric chocke on my carburetor now my electric fans went out and the Valcovers are leaking oil on to the heads and motor block so embarrassing the way my car is smoking my motor was all chromed out shiny 400 small block now it’s turning dull i will never recommend no one to these crooks i wrote another review and some how it’s getting erased they don’t won’t people to no that they are scamming and getting over in anyway possible please don’t waste your time with these boot leggers

I gave them my Promaster van 2 weeks ago and told them to diagnose my engine and told them not to worry about really anything else as it is a fleet vehicle and needed to be put back into service. After 2 week he told me he diagnosed everything but the engine and wanted more money to diagnose what was actually wrong with the vehicle. And he told me that he wanted to speak with someone who knows what they are doing. Very unprofessional

So took my bucket truck in for dot inspection, parking brake was Inop, noted and was quoted 925 to repair, added some other items to repair, go to pick up truck, was a whopping 2900 dollars later. Blamed excessive time on braking system. This was taking in a year ago, before pandemic. So mid summer brake squeakers began squawking, drove it till now, pulled apart rear axel assembly, see some new parking brake shoes, nothing else, everything they quoted as an issue wasnt replaced. If you have a medium duty truck avoid this place, didn’t do what they said they did. Let alone the rear regular brakes needed to be done, old axel seals, just not what I would have expected. Also did an alignment, didn’t center the steering wheel. Avoid..: I did call at the time, were short staffed due to pandemic and was basically told they don’t have time for me. Never again, got me once, won’t get me again.

I love Troy Auto care! They're trustworthy, give you value for your money, and get the job done well. I don't have to keep going back to get a problem fixed or feel like they didn't help me. I have recommended them to everyone I know and they love Troy Auto too. They definitely outshine their competition and their advantage is their trustworthiness and price. You don't feel like you're going to a shady auto shop to be swindled. If I have any car issues I don't have to hesitate to go there bc they will also tell me if I don't have a problem. I love their Saturday oil change special as well! With the special price you don't have to skip any oil changes; you can keep going to get them on time because they charge a good price. Happy, returning customers that recommend more customers are more valuable in the long run.

PLEASE READ This place is pretty much only good for an oil change. Do not bring your BMW here! I mean even when they did the oil change on mine they didn't even reset the meter but This review is about my car that they could not fix even 1% of. My trunk was locked shut and I think I was having a battery issue (in the trunk) but they couldn't even figure out how to get into the trunk! They had my car for 24 hours and the next day I had to leave work early because it was getting dropped off to the dealership at 5:30. I ended up having to have it towed 25 minutes to the Erhard Bloomfield Hills dealership. Long story short I was waiting until seven and the dealership had already closed. Kaitlyn told me they had picked up the car 10 minutes before I called to check up at 5:56 but when I called dispatch they said he was still trying to get the car onto the tow truck because he couldn't figure out how to get it into neutral. By the time they got there at 7 PM I was the last person at the dealership and all the people had gone home. I was stuck waiting for an Uber in my cold nonfunctional car. While I was in my car AND THIS IS THE FUCKED UP PART I discovered that they put the center paneling which they brought up over my auxiliary cord and I didn't know why they had even brought that up let alone have enough sense to put it back how they found it. Also in the backseat the paneling to get into the trunk wasn't put on and I had to snap it into place. On the outside of the car it looked like they're dirty fucking hands left smudges everywhere on my car(probably from doing so many oil changes all day) . THESE PEOPLE DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING WITH BMWS Absolutely the worst service

This place is the best. The owner used to have a place in Royal Oak that I would always go to and by chance I found his new spot here, and have brought my car back 3 times. They made sure my car would be ready when I needed it! Very friendly too, they love my 2008 manual trans fusion as much as I do. Lifetime customer for sure.
